On September 10, 2025, GREE Electric Appliances successfully held the “GREE Southeast Asia 2025 New Product Launch” in Bangkok, Thailand. With the theme “A Decade of Trust, A Future of Innovation,” the event gathered over 1,200 core dealers and partners from Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia, jointly witnessing a pivotal moment in GREE’s entry into a new era of self-owned brand operations in Southeast Asia.
President Assistant of Gree Zhuhai, Mr. Kevin Bai, delivered a speech at the beginning. Looking back over the past decade, GREE’s home appliance business in Indonesia has achieved significant diversification. In the residential air conditioning sector, GREE has become a market leader through its outstanding quality and continuous innovation.
Taking the Indonesian market as an example, GREE’s residential air conditioners rank among the top in sales growth within the Asia-Pacific region, maintaining a leading market share. This not only reflects consumers’ high recognition of GREE’s quality and technology but also acknowledges the capabilities of our distributors.
Next, Mr. Nicky, Vice President of GREE Indonesia, reviewed the company’s development journey in the Indonesian market over the past decade. He emphasized that integrity in business operations and mutual benefit and win-win outcomes have been the cornerstone of past achievements and have laid a solid foundation for sustained future growth. In the face of increasingly fierce market competition, he stated that GREE would continue to advance technological upgrades, maintain product quality, and strengthen long-term and stable partnerships with distributors.
Additionally, Mr. Nicky shared the strategic blueprint for GREE Indonesia over the next decade, highlighting the introduction of a new sales concept of GREE EXPERT SHOP, which aims to improve end users' experiences, striving to create win-win outcomes for consumers, partners, and the company.

Inverter Air Conditioner Airy
The “AI 8-Degree Inverter Air Conditioner Airy” is GREE’s smart health flagship model designed specifically for Thailand. It features G-learning AI algorithms, achieving intelligent operation with up to 15% energy savings, and supports voice control and Wi-Fi connection. Integrated with HEPA filtration, UVC ultraviolet sterilization, and cold plasma technology, it creates a whole-house air purification system. Its four-way air supply and 19dB ultra-quiet experience are particularly suitable for high-temperature and high-humidity residential and hotel environments in Southeast Asia.

Launched for the Indonesian market, the Free Match is defined as a “Flexible Multi VRF Air Conditioning System,” highlighting three core advantages: high energy efficiency, flexible installation, and stable operation. Its unique high-ratio design, flexible indoor unit configurations, and compact G-Max outdoor units perfectly suit diverse spaces such as medium-sized villas, office buildings, and shops. Additionally, its wide voltage startup and automatic fault protection technology ensure stable operation in Indonesia’s complex power environment, making it a versatile solution combining practicality and cost-effectiveness.

Singapore | Zero-Carbon
Flagship GMV6 Solar
The flagship product launched in Singapore is the world’s first “Zero Carbon Air Conditioning System” — GMV6 Solar photovoltaic direct-driven multi VRF unit. It achieves 99% photovoltaic direct-driven efficiency, supports fully off-grid operation, and realizes “zero electricity bills, zero emissions.” Its modular parallel architecture flexibly matches various buildings, featuring a remote monitoring system, smart operation platform, and wide-temperature environment operation assurance. It demonstrates outstanding performance in green buildings, high-end commercial complexes, and government institutions, fully aligning with Singapore’s highest energy efficiency standard (Green Mark).
During the past decade that GREE has been deeply rooted in the Southeast Asian market, it has also been the ten years in which Chairperson Dong Mingzhu proposed the vision of “Made in China, Loved by the World”.
Throughout this decade, GREE’s overseas operations have consistently demonstrated practical achievements in fulfilling Chairperson Dong’s requirements for high-quality development. The company has undergone a profound transformation, shifting from OEM production to building its own brand. The share of self-owned brands in Southeast Asian market has risen from 30% a decade ago to 80% today, while operating profits have continuously set new records.
The Indonesian market exemplifies this transformation. Ten years ago, the Indonesian market was entirely dominated by Japanese brands. Today, GREE has become one of the few Chinese brands in Indonesia that can compete head-to-head with Japanese brands.
