On October 31, 2025, the high-end forum titled “GREEN LEADERSHIP NET ZERO FUTURE” hosted by GREE Vietnam, was successfully held in Vietnam. The event brought together numerous industry experts from the Vietnam Association of Refrigeration and Science and Technology (VISRAE), government representatives from the Department of Climate Change (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and other stakeholders, who engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics such as ozone layer protection, greenhouse gas emission reduction, and sustainable development of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.

The event officially kicked off in that afternoon. The attending guests first visited the exhibition area, where they gained a preliminary understanding of the cutting-edge refrigeration technologies and products brought by GREE and other enterprises in a relaxed atmosphere.
Ms. Nguyen Dang Thu Cuc, the responsible person of the Department of Climate Change (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) , delivered the opening speech, setting the tone for the event with a focus on climate issues and proactive action.
Mr. Dao Quang Ngoc, President of the Vietnam Association of Refrigeration and Science Technology (VISRAE) and former Minister of Fisheries, delivered a welcome speech.
Mr. Kevin Bai, President Assistant of GREE Electric Appliances, spoke on behalf of the organizing committee, reaffirming GREE’s firm commitment to promoting environmentally friendly refrigeration technologies and global sustainable development.
During the keynote speech session, Ms. Nguyen Dang Thu Cuc introduced the progress made by the country in ozone layer protection and greenhouse gas reduction. The President of VinUni University provided an in-depth analysis of the current state of global climate change and the advanced technologies applied by various countries. Mr. Huynh Phuoc Cuong, Deputy General Manager of GREE Vietnam Company, elaborated in details on “GREE’s Solutions”, outlining the company’s latest achievements in environmental protection refrigeration and energy-saving technologies, as well as how these technologies are being adapted to the Vietnamese market to support the country’s green transition.
In the subsequent special discussion session, Dr. Nguyen Van Hoi, Director of the Institute of Industrial Trade Strategy and Policy at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, associate Professor Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Mr. Pham Thanh Binh from VNCC Architecture Consulting Company, representatives from industry investment and operation sectors as well as Mr. Owen Li, Southeast Asia Business Leader of GREE Electric Appliances, engaged in an in-depth discussion from multiple perspectives including policy, academia, engineering, and business, exploring the challenges faced by Vietnam’s refrigeration and air conditioning industry and the pathways toward green transformation.
Centered around the theme “How Technology Drives a Sustainable Energy Future,” the panelists held a one-hour in-depth dialogue that brought the event to its peak.
During the dinner session, Mr. Yang Wenbin, Chairman of GREE Vietnam, took the stage to express his gratitude and shared GREE’s long-term commitment and future vision in the Vietnamese market. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, guests continued exchanging views and exploring collaboration opportunities, bringing a successful conclusion for this event.
