On the evening of July 14th, local time, GREE held a grand launch event for its new product, the G-Linea single-way cassette air conditioner, in São Paulo, Brazil. Over 120 dealers, experienced interior designers, and influential KOLs were invited to the event, which was also live-streamed online to global viewers. G-Linea is developed based on the aesthetic preferences and usage habits of Brazilian consumers. It addresses the pain point of traditional single-way cassette units that require multiple indoor units connection, and offers consumers more flexible options. At the launch event, GREE not only provided an in-depth analysis of the innovative design and outstanding performance of the G-Linea single-way cassette unit but also highlighted its consistently strict global quality control system, earning high attention and praise from both the on-site guests and online viewers.
At the event site, all the KOL members of the “Tropa da GREE” team from GREE Brazil were present to promote the GREE brand and speak up for it. This team is a group of installation professionals created by GREE Brazil, and is actively involved in the Brazilian refrigeration industry with a certain industry influence and fan base. These individuals are true “GREE fans” who love the GREE brand, recognize its value, and continuously promote and advocate for it.
As an important bridge connecting the brand and the market, “Tropa da GREE” is expanding GREE’s local influence and brand recognition in Brazil with their professional insights and real reputation. GREE announced at the event that Lar Cabral, a well-known Brazilian architect and online influencer with over a million followers, has officially become one of the brand’s spokespersons in Brazil.

Elton, the quality control manager from GREE Brazil, delivered a speech on site, elaborating on GREE’s rigorous quality control system and quoting the motto of Madam Dong, “Quality relates to two lives, the lives of the customers and the company.” This left a profound impression on the guests in attendance, who all expressed their deep admiration for GREE’s dedication to quality and pursuit of excellence.

In 1999, GREE initiated the construction of Brazil production base, which was put into operation in 2001. In 2018, GREE once again invested 200 million RMB to acquire a new factory. The new factory covers an area of approximately 100,000㎡ and currently has a total of about 1,600 employees, with Chinese employees strictly controlled at less than 2%. The annual production capacity of air conditioners can reach up to 1.5 million sets at its peak.
According to local shipment data from the Brazilian factory, the GREE brand currently holds the largest market share in the Brazilian residential air conditioner market. By 2025, GREE Brazil is expected to achieve sales of 1 million air conditioners and 3 billion RMB in sales revenue.
During the dinner, a traditional Chinese cultural performance of “Lion Dance” was specially presented, offering the guests a vibrant audio-visual feast and highlighting the brand’s profound cultural heritage. The guests were highly enthusiastic, responding with thunderous applause. The lion danced cheerfully, and everyone interacted with the performers and took photos. In this cheerful and harmonious atmosphere, everyone witnessed the dazzling debut of GREE new product G-Linea together.
